about me

Jun Arakawa is an artist living in Shiga, Japan,who creates sureal and abstract works of arts using a variety of mediums.
He is an improvisationist who utilizes shapes,colors,lines, and detailed patterns to express himself.
In the past he was invited to show his art in a group show at Gallery 7, in Ginza,Tokyo.
Jun currently shows his work at art festivals held in Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan.
After living in New York for 25 years, and working as a bike messenger, playing in a punk rock band, and
 being a sound engineer, he returned to what he loves the most since his childhood, which is creating art. 

Jun Arakawaはメディアのさまざまな方法を使ってsureal、抽象的な作品を制作してる滋賀県に住んでいるアーティストです。
彼は自分自身を表現するために形、色、線、細かいパターンを利用し即興的スタイルで創作してます。
過去に東京·銀座のギャラリー7のグループショーに招待されました。現在、京都で開催された芸術祭に作品を参加しています。
25年間、ニューヨークでバイクメッセンジャー、パンク·ロックバンド、サウンド·エンジニアなど様々な経験、
現在幼い頃から最も好きだった「ものづくり」に戻り活動してます。
